Sketching is the foundation of artistic freedom. Simple things are often the most difficult, such as attempting to create a motif consisting of a few strokes that must still capture the model's character and movement. It is common for a sketch to be created within 1-15 minutes, with one or more models, dressed or undressed, stationary or in motion. In this book, I have compiled sketches from several different locations and courses in Stockholm between 1998–2018. Sketches come from various open sketch sessions at the National Museum, Dance Museum, Folkuniversitetet, ABF studio, Kristinehovs Malmgård, Hjorthagens cultural centre and Konstskolan Basis art school.
