Tor Ekwurtzel has served as squad leader and platoon commander in the Swedish Army, the National Guard, and in the Airforce. He has a Masters Degree in Social Science from Lund University. A former enforcement officer for over ten years. He observed the war in Ukraine 2014–2018. Tor resides in Stockholm, Sweden, with his German Shepherd named Kiev. He has a keen interest in the history of ancient Egypt, Beethoven, and August Strindberg.
